Expanding my marketing skills during the pandemic

**This post is sponsored by Russell Brunson but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

I know I’ve talked about all the things I learned during the COVID-19 pandemic before, another thing I may have failed to mention in my previous blog post was, expanding my marketing skills.

I know it can be hard to stay focused during this time; after all, there is A LOT going on in the world right now. But I wholeheartedly agree that sometimes, we need to disconnect from the drama and instead, turn to things in our life we can control.

So what do we control? our mind. our thinking. what choose to focus on.

I have dedicated a large portion of my time during the quarantine to expand my learning in various areas that I did not previously have time to before.

One way I am doing that is by brushing up on my marketing skills. If you’ve been following me or my blog for any long period of time, you know by now that I run a Digital Marketing business full-time.

Because of that, I am constantly taking in new information and learning as much as I can. This not only helps me better serve my clients, but also helps me to be more of a leader in my industry.

I’m old fashioned when it comes to learning and still prefer the written word to video any day. With that said, I am always looking for books and written courses on topics that can help me expand and grow.

Traffic Secrets by Russell Brunson

One of those books is Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers— a book that helps you master evergreen traffic strategies to help attract more customers to your website and funnels.

The book is written by Russell Brunson, a Best-Selling Author & CEO of $100M software company ClickFunnels.

He’s built a following of over a million entrepreneurs, sold hundreds of thousands of copies of his books and popularized the concept of sales funnels. Him and his partner, Todd Dickerson luanched ClickFunnels, a non-venture backed software company in 2014.

What I’ve learned so far from the book

Although I’m still halfway through the book, I’m finding a lot of the information highly useful to help me run my business as well as offer pointers and suggestions for my clients.

Oftentimes, the most talked about issue that most entrepreneurs have isn’t creating an amazing product or service; it’s getting their future customers to discover that they even exist.

This is why tens of thousands of businesses start and fail every year because entrepreneurs don’t understand the art and science of getting customers to find you.

In order to really learn and properly implement Russell’s strategies, I decided to a 30-day challenge (which you can get from his website).

The 30-day challenge not only helps you follow along with his book, it also helps you test out his theories in real time.

I have decided to share these strategies with my audience–you can follow along with the stories on my business page : www.instagram.com/anacanoninspires.

Why I needed to focus on expanding my marketing skills during the pandemic

With all the craziness going on in the world today, I found that staying focused on doing things I love including expanding my marketing skills has been an amazing way for me to beat the stress.

In the meantime, I definitely recommend you check the book out for yourself! head on over here to get your copy today!
