This zesty Italian salad dressing has been my favorite go-to recipe because It’s light yet deliciously satisfying. It is the perfect compliment to ANY salad and can be made quickly and easily. The best part, I normally always have these ingredients on hand in my pantry and can reach for them quickly.
I usually make a large batch of this and store it in the fridge for up to 5 days. It stores pretty well but after the 5 days, I’ve noticed the oils become rancid. SO! try and consume this within that time frame.
If you’re trying to watch your caloric intake, you can absolutely skip the cheese. I didn’t have the will power to do so but hey, we’re all entitled to treat ourselves once in a while, no?
I must add that I never used to enjoy eating bell peppers in my salad until very recently. Now, I almost always add them. Luckily, my wonderful in laws gave us some freshly picked bell peppers from their garden which tasted amazing!
