The BEST healthy Greek salad dressing

This Greek salad dressing is simple, clean, and low fat.

The Greek salad is my all-time favorite. So naturally, I needed to pair it with a delicious Greek salad dressing to compliment an already tasty dish!

Like most Greek dishes, this dressing is lemony and has the amazing flavor of olive oil and garlic (just make sure you aren’t planning on kissing anyone right after).

Do you ever feel like you can never quite get your homemade salad dressings to taste like the store-bought kind? I have always felt that way. However, I’ve realized that they don’t taste the same because they are not the same! when we make our own salad dressings at home, we are using clean, simple ingredients. which means, we aren’t adding those nasty flavor enhancers and preservatives you’ll find in store-bought variety of dressings.

So, let’s rejoice that we can make our salad dressings without all the “stuff” that our bodies simply do not need!

You’re going to want to give this dressing¬†a nice stir right before you use it because the oil tends to separate from the rest of the ingredients. I like it that way though, proves that It’s clean and natural!

I enjoyed pairing this dressing with iceberg lettuce and a wonderful spring mix salad. I topped it with kalamata olives, green bell pepper, Persian cucumbers, red onion, and of course, feta cheese. Now if you’re trying to watch your caloric intake, I would omit the cheese…as hard as it may be.

The best healthy Greek salad dressing


  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbs red wine vinegar
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • Pinch of salt and pepper


  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender for 5-10 seconds until well blended.
  2. Store in an air-tight container for 3-5 days.
