If you know me at all, you’ll know that time management isn’t one of my strengths. As hard as I try, I always find myself running at least 10-15 minutes late to practically everything and always feel like I’m racing against the clock. I never feel like I have enough time to do everything I need to do and because of that, I seem to always feel a bit overwhelmed.
I blame it on poor planning, procrastination, and plain laziness. Of course, I also call it being a working Mother. Regardless of the reasoning behind it, I took the first step in improving my organizational skills, by purchasing AND ACTUALLY USING a planner this year!! yay…go me!
I have found that planning out my week every Sunday night in my planner has helped me feel less overwhelmed and more in control of my to-do list. Additionally, I have had to cut a few corners in the morning when getting ready for work so that for once, I could actually get there on time (horrible I know). Between getting my son ready in the morning, taking a shower, and making sure I look semi-decent, having the time to make a wholesome breakfast just isn’t an option.
I recently tried the VitaTops muffin and my Hubby and I have hooked ever since! They taste great, come in a wide variety of flavors, and have fewer calories than traditional muffins. Not to mention, they contain wholesome ingredients and use no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.
But perhaps my most favorite thing about these VitaTops is how convenient it is to have one! They come individually wrapped so I can literally just grab and go! I like to wait for them to defrost on their own but you can also place them in your microwave for a few minutes and voila!

Am I the only person who finds strolling through aisles therapeutic? Sometimes, I see it as therapy.

I selected the Deep Chocolate and Protein Banana Chocolate chip. Admittedly I LOVED LOVED LOVED the protein banana chocolate chip the best. I like that it has 8 grams of protein and 6 grabs of fiber. The deep chocolate flavor tastes wonderful as well and I really like that they have fewer calories (100 per serving).
I love that you can just place them in the microwave without taking them out of the packaging.
