Hail to Kale…chips that is.
Tonight I wanted to share a delicious Kale chip recipe with you guys! Let me just tell you how much I absolutely LOVE kale. Whether its added to my favorite stir fry, salad, or green juice, Kale is just one of those “super-foods” that never disappoints. Its robust flavor and unique texture adds crunch and character to any dish. Packed with antioxidants, kale contains vital nutrients such as lutein which helps protect the eyes from macular degeneration as well as vitamins A, K, and C.
What’s more, Kale is an amazing leafy green vegetable that is known for its iron, calcium, and protein content making it an ideal food for vegans and non-vegans alike. Its anti-inflammatory benefits are unmatched among other leafy greens in terms of prevention and in some case reversal of various ailments such as heart disease, arthritis, and autoimmune diseases. Basically, Kale is pretty awesome!
Being a kale lover, I am always looking for new ways to consume it. So naturally, I have several different kale-chip recipes up my sleeve. In this post, I am going to share one of my favorites…spicy chipotle kale chips. Because, who doesn’t love chipotle flavored anything? I need to let you know in advance though that if you are not a fan of spicy foods, you may either want to skip this recipe and wait until I post my famous vegan “cheezy” kale chips recipe instead.
Although a regular oven can be used for this recipe, I highly recommend using a Dehydrator. a good one is the

- Dehydrate at 115 degrees for 2-3 hours or until kale is nice and crispy
